Hello,
I’m Gemma, proofreader, editor and author.
I’ve been involved in the writing industry since 2015 when I decided to write my first book. A year later I published it under the pen name Gem Stone. Since then I have published three more books and worked on a number of other author’s books as a beta reader and developmental editor.
In 2023 I decided it was time to get some qualifications in proofreading and editing so I took myself back to school and here I am now; a qualified proofreader and editor who graduated from college with a distinction and QLS certification.
I know what it’s like to have worked really hard on something and not be sure if it’s error free or good enough.
Whether it’s editing a CV or proofreading a manuscript, I will improve your work to a higher standard.
You and your voice are what’s important. I’m simply helping you improve your work. I understand the importance of not changing the author’s voice!
