Hello,
I’m Gemma, proofreader, editor and author.
I’ve been involved in the writing industry since 2015 when I decided to write my first book. A year later I published it under the pen name Gem Stone. Since then I have published three more books and worked on a number of other author’s books as a beta reader and developmental editor.
It was last year when I decided it was time to get some qualifications in proofreading and editing so I took myself back to school and here I am now; a qualified proofreader and editor who graduated from college with a distinction and QLS certification.
I know what it’s like to have worked really hard on something and not be sure if it’s error free or good enough.
Whether it’s editing a CV or proofreading a manuscript, I will improve your work to a higher standard.

Gemma did an excellent job of line editing my memoir. She also volunteered a few comments outside the scope of line editing which were very relevant and helpful . I warmly recommend her!
This was my first novel so her edits and suggestions were incredibly helpful. She brought to my attention ascents of the story that had holes and I think these points will definitely improve the flow for the reader.
